At Shelving + Rack Systems, a BMH company we’re looking for a passionate Account Manager to join our team and lead business-to-business account development in the greater Columbia, SC/Augusta, GA area. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and customer service.
• Conduct outside sales activities, including cold calling and product demonstrations, to generate new business opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Manage existing accounts and provide ongoing support to clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Manage company provided leads.
• Utilize CRM and other technology tools to track sales activities and analyze performance.
• Collaborate with marketing and management teams to align sales strategies with business development goals.

What You Bring:

• Experience: Preferred 2 years of B2B sales experience (outside) with a track record of success in lead generation and Incentive Compensation-based selling.
• Initiative: You’re motivated by the challenge of cold calling and are driven to grow business opportunities.
• Communication Skills: You’re a natural at building strong relationships with clients at all levels and can communicate your ideas clearly.
• Bonus Points: If you’ve worked with high-value sales or have experience in material handling (like vertical lift modules or shelving), that’s a plus! Strong computer skills and a knack for problem-solving are also welcome!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Base Salary plus Incentive Compensation , car allowance and credit card for fuel $80,000-$110,000 1st Year On Target Earnings
