Job Description

The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Job Summary

St Bridget of Kildare Catholic School, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Teacher's Aide to support classroom instruction and provide assistance to teachers and students in a Christ-centered learning environment. The Teacher's Aide helps facilitate daily classroom operations, promotes student engagement, and contributes to a safe, respectful, and faith-filled atmosphere aligned with Catholic values.


Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the classroom teacher in preparing instructional materials and organizing classroom activities.
  • Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Supervise students in the classroom, hallways, lunchroom, playground, or other school settings as assigned.
  • Help maintain a clean, orderly, and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Monitor student behavior and support school rules and teacher expectations.
  • Encourage and model Christian values and behaviors in line with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
  • Respect confidentiality in matters related to students and staff.
  • Perform clerical duties such as copying, filing, and organizing supplies.
  • Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development as required.
