Job Type: Full-Time | Consultant (6 Months)

Schedule: Must be able to work either shift

Starting Pay: $45.00/hour (+ $110 weekly per diem for non-local candidates)

Your Role: Precision, Performance, Progress

As an Assembly Mechanic supporting 737 fuselage production, you'll play a critical role in assembling, installing, sealing, rigging, inspecting, and testing structural and system components. Your expertise will directly impact product quality, safety, and overall aircraft performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, seal, rig, and inspect structural and system components per engineering specs

• Interpret and work from blueprints, process specifications, and verbal/electronic instructions

• Use shop math and precision measuring/test instruments

• Perform functional testing and adjustments for fit, form, and function

• Operate and maintain assembly tooling and equipment

• Identify and report discrepancies

• Perform basic machine maintenance (lubrication, filter changes, etc.)

• Move products within work areas using shop equipment

• Support continuous workflow and assist/train fellow employees

• Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified

• Participate in total preventative maintenance and safety compliance procedures

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be able to work either shift

• Must be blueprint-proficient

• Must have 5+ years of aerospace sheet metal experience

• 737 rework and/or structures background preferred

• Must pass Plate Test

Additional Benefits:

• Paid flights or mileage reimbursement for travel to training in Wichita, KS

• Hotel reimbursement during Wichita training period

• $110 weekly per diem for candidates residing over 100 miles from work location

Pay Details: $45.00 per hour
