My client is a general contractor located in the Chicago, IL. Job Description

• Supervises day-to-day work of crew and prioritize work at hand.
• Ability to effectively lead a crew on schedule while monitoring quality of work at hand.
• Effectively follow plans/guidelines while conducting regular safety meetings.
• Enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crew member discipline and documentation.
• Manage close out process and warranty responses with project manager
• Attend and participate in weekly meetings, including project and subcontractor meetings

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of construction experience as a superintendent
• Previous Federal project experience is a must
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Able to manage team of employees and multiple projects
• Ability to walk the job site
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Proficient at Microsoft Office & Outlook
• Ability to travel on a national scale
