Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist with dental office experience for our general and family dental practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients warmly
- Utilize dental software such as Dentrix to schedule patients, bill insurance claims and manage patient information
- Validate patient insurance
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Handle patient and insurance payments accurately in dental software
- Generate monthly billing statements
- Run end of day reports including sending insurance claims
- Handle phone calls, scheduling appointments and responding to patient inquiries
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have previous knowledge in a dental office setting
- Knowledge of dental terminology, dental procedures and filing dental claims
- Proficient in office management software - Dentrix
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Competance in using office equipment such as computers, printers, credit card machine
