A cancer center attached to large hospital is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located 2 hours West of Minnesota.
This outpatient-focused position involves a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with minimal inpatient responsibilities. While the advanced practice provider (APP) primarily handles inpatient care, the physician may occasionally be consulted. The clinic and hospital are connected. Call and weekend coverage is required on a 1:4 rotation. The typical caseload ranges from 14 to 18 patients per day. Hospital privileges are required, with credentialing taking approximately 90 to 120 days. The facility uses Epic as its electronic medical record (EMR) system.
