Job Summary:

Friendly Acura of Middletown is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Express Service Technician to join our team in Middletown, New York. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $20 to $22 per hour (based on experience). The candidates for this role should have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, as well as excellent customer service skills. As an Express Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing quick and efficient vehicle maintenance services for our customers to ensure their satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities:

- Perform quick and efficient vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and basic inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Communicate with customers about any necessary repairs and provide recommendations for future maintenance
- Keep accurate records of all services performed and maintenance recommendations
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to properly diagnose and repair vehicles
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Stay updated on current automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and development
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient and timely service for customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment and experience using them
- Strong understanding of automotive technology and repair processes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
