UHS is currently recruiting for our Hospital Administrator Program at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center (Enid, OK) . St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center is a 245-bed hospital that offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient medical services to residents of Northwest Oklahoma. There are more than 125 physicians and dentists on the medical staff of St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, representing a number of specialties, including: comprehensive Cardiac care, Neurosciences, Women's health, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Emergency medicine, including a 24-hour trauma center, Rehabilitation and a growing Physician’s Practice(s).
P osition Summary:
The selected candidate will provide day-to-day operations for various hospital departments and be assigned projects to further the strategy of the Hospitals. He/she will implement the strategy of the CEO and will manage their assigned departments efficiently and effectively to maximize the quality of services and the profits of the hospital. The individual will also be enrolled in our corporate Leadership Development classes to further their development as a junior executive and prepare the indivual to become a COO within UHS.
QualificationsPosition Requirements:
Knowledge: Knowledge of the financial implications of decisions including budgeting and forecasting for a limited number of departments and/or projects is required.
Skills: Must be detail oriented and able to focus on nuances of multiple hospital operations. Effective communication skills with diverse groups, including physicians, managers, and employees is required.
Education: Master’s degree required (MBA, MHA or related program).
