From the first part you stage in the morning to the final inspection before the rack heads to shipping, you own the finish. As an Industrial Powder Coating Technician in Whitewater, WI, you’ll transform raw metal into durable, color-true, and consistent products that meet rigorous standards.

You’ll prep surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking; dial in your powder gun settings; verify color and specification requirements; apply coatings with precision; and ensure every piece cures correctly in the oven. Before the day is done, you’ll inspect, adjust, and document results—keeping your booth and tools ready for the next run.

• Prepare metal surfaces: clean, sand, and mask to specification.
• Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and curing ovens.
• Mix and apply powder coatings to match color and spec requirements.
• Inspect finished parts for consistency and quality; make needed adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure peak performance.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in coatings/painting is a plus.
• Prior powder coating or related finishing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a dedication to quality work.
• Comfort working independently and with a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety practices.
• Clear communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new techniques and processes.
