Akkodis is seeking an Instructional Designer for a Contract with a client in Canonsburg, PA/Houston, TX. This role develops impactful business unit communications to drive engagement and change adoption across diverse teams.

Rate Range: $30/hour to 33.77/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Instructional Designer job responsibilities include:

• Design and develop engaging learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and job aids.

• Conduct needs assessments and collaborates with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and content requirements.

• Apply instructional design models and adult learning principles to create effective training solutions.

• Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS) to build and deploy content.

• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.

• Continuously improve learning programs based on learner feedback, business needs, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3–5 years in instructional design or learning development.

• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.

• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and applying adult learning principles to course design.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.77 per hour
