Loan Processor Job Description Full-time West Coast (U.S.) Reports to Director of Operations Why Flipside, Why Now? Flipside Lending is rewriting the playbook for private real-estate financing. We fund Fix & Flips, Ground-Up Construction, Bridge, Rental/DSCR, and Multifamily deals nationwide, taking a nuanced perspective to risk and creative structuring, using an in-house process that cuts close times in half. The Opportunity Flipside Lending is expanding its operations team to accelerate our growth. Were looking for motivated and results-driven loan processors to join our team and help drive our loan pipeline. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with loan originators to efficiently and effectively gather required materials for loan approval. You will know when to escalate matters to the leadership team and have excellent customer service skills. As part of a collaborative and high-energy team, youll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Flipside Lending by building meaningful relationships with real estate investors, brokers, and other industry stakeholders. Core Responsibilities Customer Service: Have strong communication skills to effectively explain requirements to borrowers and efficiently coordinate files for completion. Familiar with language required to speak with title and escrow, insurance agents and appraisers. Shepherd deals from application through funding, coordinating with loan originators, underwriting, and draw management teams to ensure a friction-free borrower experience. Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain accurate pipeline reporting, working with loan originators and Operations team to ensure timely closings of all loans Execute disciplined follow-up cadences (calls, SMS, email) to hit daily and weekly activity KPIs. Order and follow-up on all property required documentation including appraisals, title policies, flood certificates, and insurance. Review all property documentation for accuracy and manage data entry into appropriate software programs. Serve as a liaison to third party vendors (appraisal, title, etc.) to obtain necessary documentation. Research and assist in resolving problems or issues on loan files, escalating to management when appropriate. Must-Have Experience and Skills Two or more years working in mortgage lending or residential real estate support role (i.e. transaction coordinator or admin assistant). Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Works well independently and in a team setting Analytical mindset with ability to interpret and act on data Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex terms into plain language for borrowers. Ability to adapt to evolving procedures as the company grows and adapts to the market. Strong desire to learn and grow into new opportunities. Leadership: You act with initiative and are the first to raise your hand when someone needs help or has a project to complete.
