Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district to hire a bus nurse to work in Albion, New York. As a school professional with SHC, you’ll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals who understand schools and your unique needs as a School LPN. School Bus LPN Contract Details:

• $30-$31 an hour
• 13-week contracts
• Schedule follows the school district calendar
• Bus nurse for Am & Pm routes, approx 6:45am – 10:35am for morning run and 12:55pm- 5pm for the afternoon run
• Seizure monitoring student
  Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Providing healthcare to students with acute or chronic health problems
• Conduct screenings and write referrals for health services
• Maintaining Student Records while complying with state and federal screenings
• Promoting education and wellness initiatives

Requirements:

• New York LPN License
• American Heart Association BLS
• Minimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting
