Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in controls and automation systems. This hands-on role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and control equipment including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation. You’ll support the reliability and performance of production systems and play a key role in equipment upgrades and automation improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation and wiring of control panels, sensors, HMIs, PLCs, and VFDs
Diagnose and repair control system and electrical issues on production equipment
Calibrate instrumentation and verify proper control loop functionality
Assist with updates or modifications to PLC/HMI programs under engineering guidance
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs
Work with engineers and other technicians on new installations and system upgrades
Maintain service logs and update documentation on all completed work
Follow safety procedures and site-specific maintenance protocols
Qualifications:
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience with controls or automation systems
Familiar with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and HMIs
Knowledge of VFDs, motor control, sensors, and related components
Ability to read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics and diagrams
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and electrical safety practices
Associate degree or technical certificate in Electrical, Automation, or similar field preferred
Willingness to travel or work overtime as needed (may include occasional overnight trips)
