Job Description

Salary: $114,720 - 172,080 per year Requirements:

  • We are looking for candidates who are authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship. We will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position. Ideal candidates will have over 7 years of programming and systems analysis experience, along with specific business expertise in the industry. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Hands-on experience in hybrid mobile app development using Capacitor and/or Cordova is essential, as is experience with front-end application development platforms like Angular, Ionic, and Typescript. Familiarity with UX design and accessibility (A11Y) is a strong plus. Knowledge of CI/CD methods such as GitHub Actions, experience with AWS Lambda functions, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) services like CloudFormation and Terraform are also required. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices for mobile applications. Experience with security models, such as OIDC and OAuth token security, and Identity and Access Management products like ForgeRock is necessary. A firm grasp of the Scrum Agile project management methodology is important, as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are crucial.

Responsibilities:
  • In this role, I will ensure technical leadership to our Scrum Teams, maintaining the integrity of the application architecture. I will implement the technical vision broadly, accounting for cross-functional impacts and integration across the organization. Acting as a subject matter expert for the mobile app and its architecture is part of my responsibilities. Additionally, I will oversee the delivery of the mobile app along with its backend infrastructure throughout the software development life cycle. I'll ensure that quality assurance metrics are met during application testing and proactively address any technical issues and risks that arise. Designing and documenting automation solutions aligned with business needs will be essential. I will also mentor and train team members, advocating for development guidelines and best practices. Leading change by engaging with Business, IT, and Sourcing partners to influence and educate will be key, along with identifying opportunities to reduce the total cost of ownership in operational application support. Finally, I will support and consult on disaster recovery and reverse demand planning and testing.

Compensation for this role is based on an analysis of similar positions in the external market, ranging from $114,720 to $172,080 annually. Actual pay may vary according to performance and proficiency.
