Job Summary

The Motion Designer will create video projects for priority AEG Presents festivals, tours, and venues. This is an opportunity to shape the artistic vision for live entertainment marketing creative by concepting and executing video edits with a primary focus on social media channels. This position will collaborate with the creative team and various marketing departments to create innovative, visually striking content that aligns with our strategic marketing goals.

Essential Functions

• Create engaging video content for AEG's tours, festivals, and venues, with a strong emphasis on social media platforms.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions, offering creative input and innovative ideas for campaign concepts and content strategies.
• Organize footage, make selects, and color grade video in preparation for future edits.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and review creative briefs, in order to develop creative assets that are tailored to specific audience segments and platform requirements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new software tools, and design techniques to continually evolve the visual quality of motion content.
• Review and ensure the timely delivery of video edits, meeting project deadlines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Computer Science or similar
• 2-4 years Motion graphic design/animation experience
• Strong creative, organizational and problem solving skills
• Strong pre-visualization skills including storyboarding and style frames
• A portfolio that demonstrates a wide knowledge base with expertise in one or two areas
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop), Dropbox, and Google Drive
• Ability to stay on task, on deadline, and upbeat while managing a variety of projects
• Exceptional communication skills, receptive to feedback and direction
• Passion for visual storytelling
• Knowledge of the music industry preferred, love of live music a must

Payscale: $69,000 - $84,337

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
