Our Story
We started out as a small operation in California. In May 1969, we acquired four hospitals, some additional care facilities and real estate for the future development of hospitals. Over the years, we've grown tremendously in size, scope and capability, building a home in new markets over time, and curating those homes to provide a compassionate environment for those entrusting us with their care.
We have a rich history at Tenet. Functions as an interdisciplinary team member under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. Evaluates activities of daily living status, as well as assists the OTR in the implementation of a formulated treatment plan, enabling patients to reach optimum functional performance. Provides quality occupational therapy services according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.Special Skills: Excellent customer service skills.THE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an Accredited School of Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: One year.REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
