The Wilner Group has partnered with our client to identify an Operations Manager – Mechanics & Maintenance to join their team. This is a fully on-site position located in Rose Hill, NC .
Responsibilities:
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plant machinery, including grinders, conveyors, and loaders.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs and manage service schedules.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, lubricants, and other mechanical supplies.
• Supervise the maintenance team and assign daily tasks.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors and senior leadership for parts procurement and external services.
• Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and lead root-cause investigations.
• Manage daily production schedules and ensure output targets are met.
• Monitor equipment performance and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of mechanical and industrial maintenance experience, including hands-on troubleshooting and repair of mechanical issues and heavy equipment (grinders, conveyors, loaders, etc.).
• Strong leadership background with experience supervising maintenance and/or operations teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Expertise in preventive maintenance and equipment reliability, with the ability to plan, implement, and oversee service schedules to reduce downtime.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations, with a proven commitment to safety and compliance.
• Operational management experience, including production scheduling, inventory oversight, vendor coordination, and quality control.
