Are you an experienced painter looking to advance your career? If so, this opportunity is for you!

We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team. This position is responsible for performing daily painting tasks, including caulking, painting, and properly installing trim and components on sheds according to specifications. The painter will report to the Production Supervisor.

• Previous professional painting experience required
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English or interpret production assembly diagrams (shed production photos)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish colors
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Proficient in using appropriate painting tools and equipment
• Good dexterity to handle required tools efficiently
• Ability to hear with or without amplification devices
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of latex water-based paint preferred

• Understand and operate within a paint room environment
• Utilize a paint sprayer to achieve a high-quality finish
• Accurately determine and apply the correct paint color per specifications
• Work efficiently within the painting system to complete projects in a timely manner
• Ensure completed sheds are safely moved to the next production stage
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Conduct preventative maintenance on painting equipment and ventilation systems
• Process painting supply orders as needed
• Perform final detailing, such as caulking nail holes, splices, and installing trim
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and teamwork
• Treat colleagues with respect and professionalism
• Learn and apply new skills and techniques as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous professional experience using a paint sprayer

• Moderately loud, dusty, and dirty conditions typical of a production facility
• Temperature variations ranging from extreme cold with snow to intense heat and humidity
• May involve working outdoors under varying weather conditions

• Standing for extended periods
• Frequent walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting
• Regular use of hands, fingers, arms, and tools
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Relocation: Must reliably commute or plan to relocate to Milbank, SD 57252 before starting work.
