We are seeking an experienced painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting, patching, drywall installation, and mudding techniques. Responsibilities include preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as needed; applying paint, stain, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces; installing, repairing, and finishing drywall in various construction and renovation projects; performing patching and mudding to create smooth, even surfaces; mixing and applying joint compound to seal joints between drywall sheets; sanding and texturing surfaces to achieve desired finish; maintaining a clean and safe work environment; collaborating with other construction professionals on job sites; estimating material needs and managing inventory; and following all safety protocols and building codes. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of experience in painting and drywall work, proficiency in various painting techniques and finishes, expert knowledge of drywall installation, patching, and mudding, ability to operate painting and drywall tools and equipment safely, strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, physical stamina to work long hours, lift heavy materials, and climb ladders, excellent time management and organizational skills, valid driver's license and reliable transportation, high school diploma or equivalent (vocational training is a plus), and ability to lift up to 70lbs. The position is on-site at Boston Logan International Airport with a 3rd shift from 7:00pm to 3:30am.
