- Description:*
POTS (Pediatric Occupational Therapy Services) is Bergen County's premier pediatric therapy practice since 1991. Our *state-of-the-art sensory gyms in Teaneck and Waldwick* provide a collaborative, family-centered environment where children and therapists thrive.
We are seeking *experienced pediatric SLPs* for part-time, per diem, and weekend work. *Pediatric experience is required.*
- Schedule & Hours*
- After-school weekday hours (after 3:30 pm) - primary priority
- Weekend availability - a big plus
- Part-time: 8-12 hours per week preferred
- Flexible per diem options
- Responsibilities*
- Evaluate and treat children birth-21 in a sensory gym
- Address receptive/expressive language, pragmatics, articulation, and phonological disorders
- Design home programs and school strategies
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and interdisciplinary team on functional goals
- Contribute to social skills groups, summer camps, and after-school programs
- Qualifications*
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology (ASHA-accredited program)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- NJ SLP License (NJ school certification preferred)
- *Pediatric experience required* (2+ years in private practice and/or schools)
- Strong evaluation and treatment skills across all ages
- Warm, collaborative approach with children and families
- Specialty Skills (Bonus)*
- Feeding therapy / Oral Motor Therapy (OMT certification a plus)
- Working with children on the Autism Spectrum
- AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
- Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) / Executive Function
- Apraxia of Speech
- Understanding of sensory processing
