Part-Time Medical Assistant – Oahu Pediatric Group (Honolulu, HI)

We are seeking a skilled and caring Part-Time Medical Assistant (MA) to support our mission of fostering healthy futures for Oahu’s keiki.
About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional pediatric care in a supportive and collaborative environment. This part-time position (15-30 hours/week) offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
Assist pediatricians with patient exams, including taking vital signs, preparing patients, and administering vaccines.
Perform pediatric-specific tasks, such as patient education for families and supporting developmental screenings.
Manage patient intake, update electronic health records (EHR), and assist with scheduling.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for young patients and their families.
Collaborate with our team to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient experiences.
Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential preferred (AAMA or equivalent) preferred but not required.
1-4 years of medical assistant experience; pediatric experience a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with compassion for working with children and families.
Proficiency with EHR systems and basic medical procedures (e.g., vaccinations).
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
