The Pharmacy Technician performs tasks related to filling physician medication orders under pharmacist supervision, servicing pharmacy clientele, and applying advanced skills in specialty pharmacy areas. The role requires relevant Montana pharmacy technician licensing and at least one year of pharmacy practice and customer service experience. Description
Performs all typical duties of a retail. mail order, specialty pharmacy staff technician as defined by the Montana Board of Pharmacy and local pharmacy drug outlet procedures. Fills physician orders for patient medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision. Communicate with and service the needs of the Pharmacy clientele. Has advanced knowledge and skills in one or more specialty areas in the pharmacy. (Advanced skills include specific certifications such as immunization administration, MTM)
