Procurement Support Specialist

🚨 Contract Opportunity: Procurement Support – Bethlehem, PA

📅 Contract Duration: Approximately 1 year.

Salary $60-$70k

Global leader in Hospital Generics has a long term contract opportunity for a Procurement Assistant in their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bethlehem, PA!

Job Summary: Provide operational support during the rollout of the SAP S/4HANA Phase 1 Project . This role ensures business continuity within the procurement function while internal resources focus on system implementation, testing, and go-live (scheduled for April 2026).

🔍 Key Responsibilities:

• Execute day-to-day tactical procurement tasks to support site operations at the Bethlehem facility.
• Manage data entry , vendor set up , reporting , and documentation related to inventory and purchasing requests .
• Assist in resolving procurement -related issues to minimize disruptions to supply chain activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address immediate needs for raw materials and packaging components .
• Track and update stakeholders on packaging project milestones, timelines, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Participate in system testing and data validation activities for the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support procurement operations.

🎓 Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
• Experience working in pharmaceutical or manufacturing settings is a plus.
