Retail Customized Energy Solutions is looking for an Analyst with experience with billing in Deregulated Retail Energy industry, transaction management, validating data, and strong SQL skills to join its Retail Services team. In this role the successful candidate will support the Company’s Retail Energy practice by providing billing support to the retail operations. This position will suit a candidate comfortable working under deadlines and with competing priorities. The successful candidate will be a high energy self-starter, a positive team player, possess strong analytical skills, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Being detail oriented and a person of integrity are essential qualities, as is an ability to handle new tasks and manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Representative Duties:

• Leverage Retail deregulated industry knowledge to effectively develop, establish and maintain strong client relationships while interacting daily with clients
• Use quantitative and analytical skill to provide support for software and services daily billing and EDI operations in the PJM, ISO-NE, NYISO, MISO, CAISO regional transmission organization jurisdictions, including quality audits and controls and exception management
• Leverage knowledge of CES|BLUE Platform and understanding of Retail Energy markets to develop business requirements for software and reports and work with development team to create and validate new features and reports
• Liaison with clients to address escalations and training
• Perform validation on data flows to be used in commercial product billing by utilizing mathematical and technical skillsets.
• Perform billing system audits in excel and SQL to shadow billing subsets of daily billed accounts
• Utilize Retail Energy Market knowledge and understanding of client business processes to work with operational and technical team to build additional validation and automation into the billing process

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable subject matter demonstrating required quantitative and professional skill sets
• Three or more years relevant Retail Billing experience within Bill Ready, Dual Bill or Supplier Consolidated bill types.
• Experience with at least one of the following regional transmission organization jurisdictions: PJM, ISO-NE, NYISO, MISO , ERCOT, CAISO
• Relevant graduate degree or advanced industry experience a plus
• Excellent analytic processing skills and experience with Excel and SQL required
• Ability to analyze information, solve problems and make quick, fact-based decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a deadline-driven, self-managed environment
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to think “outside the box” by developing and implementing improvements to processes and tools
