We're honored to welcome The Driskill Hotel into the MML family-revitalizing Austin's most iconic hotel while honoring its storied past. Within The Driskill, we operate three unique concepts:
- 1886 Café & Bakery , a charming nod to European coffee houses, offers French-inspired pastries and Texan favorites in a grand Victorian setting.
- The Victorian , a reimagined Western pub, features a two-level barroom, mezzanine lounge, live music, and bold, elevated fare.
- The Driskill Bar & Grill brings a fresh take on the classic American steakhouse with timeless design, impeccable service, and a menu built for both business and celebration.
As a Server, you'll command a busy floor, guiding guests through the dining experience. If you are a proactive team player with a strong work ethic, are detail-oriented, and have a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you!
What you'll do: - Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and standards of service
- Demonstrate menu knowledge and sales skills, answering questions, and making suggestions.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and beverage services
- Communicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of guests.
- Complete all side work as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements
- Active TABC certification required
- Minimum of 1-year server experience required
- Excellent customer service and people skills required
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Good working knowledge of beverages and a willingness to learn
- Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
- Ability to read menus, safety documents, etc.
- Prior experience with POS systems
Physical Requirements: - Prolonged periods of being on your feet per shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
