The goal is to ensure thorough coordination among departments to efficiently achieve corporate objectives related to international freight services. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum Experience: Seven (7) years of related international freight experience and a U.S. Customs brokerage license are required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Expert-level knowledge of laws and regulations of U.S. Customs Service, FCC, EPA, USDA, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, FDA, and other federal agencies. Ability to interpret harmonized tariff schedules, Title 19, CFR, customs enforcement techniques, and relevant federal decisions and directives. Effective diplomacy skills for handling regulatory and operational matters involving the corporation, customers, federal agencies, and customs brokers. Preferred Qualifications: Strong experience with customs and regulatory compliance, with an emphasis on minimizing penalty risks.
