Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

What you will do

• Assist the planning team by providing estate and tax planning strategies
• Prepare tax returns and serve as an internal resource for SAN advisors
• Research planning, investment, and tax issues and apply knowledge to drive informed decisions
• Utilize BNA and CCH software to prepare tax returns and personal income tax projections

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and trust income tax returns, including multi-state returns
• Research tax practice developments and changes in tax law
• Stay up to date on current tax practices and changes in tax law

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree required in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• One to two years of relevant experience preferred, including internships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn additional business software (training provided)
• Basic knowledge of finance, income taxes, investments, asset allocation, and estate planning concepts
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced professional office

Compensation and benefits

• Non-Exempt position, eligible for overtime
