A leading financial services organization is seeking a talented individual to join their team and help clean up and maintain their existing technical documentation. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives on organization, has a sharp eye for detail, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing developer-facing technical content, including guides, FAQs, and product specifications. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation that supports the merchant integration experience. This is a maintenance-focused project, so your day-to-day will involve updating and cleaning up existing files and ensuring all documentation is accurate and easy to access.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, training materials, and API documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.Manage and organize content within a Content Management System (CMS) to ensure easy access.Review and update existing documentation to ensure clarity and compliance with company standards.Assist in creating training materials and troubleshooting resources.Must-Have Skills:Proven experience as a technical writer, with a focus on API documentation.Strong understanding of content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).Experience with markup languages like DITA, HTML, XML, or CSS.Proficiency with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.Solid Excel skills, including experience with macros and power queries.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content.The pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, job location, specific responsibilities, certifications, and more.
