HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Shift- 11:30AM-8PM Monday-Friday
Job Requirements:
1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
BLS required
RN License in state of employment or compact
Current ACLS certification required
Current PALS or ENPC certification required
Required to take call:
One weeknight (Monday-Thursday 8PM-7AM) every other week
One weekend (8PMFriday -7AM Monday) every 6-8 weeks depending on staffing. Might have two weekends through duration of contract
Types of patients on the unit: could see anything from newborn tubes to geriatric. Typical cases include orthopedics, general surgery, some vascular, ENT, urology, and breast reconstructions.
Previous PACU experience is good as well as critical care experience. Charting can be trained if they have critical care experience.
