We're currently hiring experienced Stainless Steel Structural Welders (Flux-Core Process) to join our traveling turnaround team. This role involves consistent travel across the U.S. to power plant sites. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and ready for a career that takes you places (literally), you might be the perfect fit.
What You'll Do
As a structural welder with IAFD, Inc. you'll be assigned to critical shutdown and turnaround projects across the country. You'll weld stainless steel components along vertical, horizontal, and overhead lines, often in elevated, confined, and challenging environments.
You'll work from detailed blueprints, follow verbal instructions precisely, and collaborate closely with your team to meet demanding project timelines. You'll also climb scaffolding, navigate complex boiler systems, and get your hands dirty on work that truly matters, keeping essential power systems operational.
This job demands focus, endurance, and a strong commitment to safety, but the rewards are worth it!
