Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder to operate robotic and manual MIG weld machines. The ideal candidate will perform welding tasks using various tools, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role involves inspecting work, repairing defective welds, and performing routine maintenance.
Responsibilities
Operate robotic and manual MIG weld machines using various tools.
Inspect own work for quality using weld and attribute gauges.
Repair defective welds using carbon air arc process, grinders, and other tools.
Clear common faults in robotic welding systems.
Perform mechanical tasks including using lifting devices to move components over 35 lbs.
Position heavy fabricated metal parts in weld fixtures.
Conduct routine maintenance such as wire changes and tip/nozzle replacements.
Follow documented procedures, standard work instructions, routings, and blueprints.
Conduct process and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG Welding
Ability to read blueprints
Experience with grinders and fabrication
High School Diploma
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with flux core welding
Understanding of weld and attribute gauges
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
