Our client, a leading player in the food processing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the operations team supporting the efficient functioning of food plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Plant Maintenance Mechanic (3rd Shift)

Location : Torrance, CA

Pay Range : $29.00 – $33.00 per hour

Shift: 3rd Shift (Overnight 10pm- 4:00am plus overtime)

What's the Job?

• Troubleshoot and diagnose all maintenance failures to ensure efficient operation.
• Utilize assembly drawings, P&IDs, and manuals to tune equipment for optimal performance.
• Work with operating devices such as gauges, RTDs, pressure transmitters, and more.
• Train new associates and team members on required skill sets for maintenance.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work area in accordance with GMP and safety guidelines.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in food processing and troubleshooting production equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to train other associates in maintenance operations.
• General mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical and logic principles.
