Position Details Position: Life Coach V / Day Program DSP Salary: $38,688 per year Location: Arkville, New York Responsibilities Support individuals in achieving their goals, providing training and behavioral support across facilities. Complete and update individual assessments to promote success. Maintain a positive learning environment. Develop daily lesson plans for training individuals. Participate in individual planning meetings. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent with two years of experience in Human Services or one year working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Ability to make timely decisions based on analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment. Competencies in active listening, teaching, curriculum development, task analysis, behavior management, person-centered planning, and advocacy. Professional communication skills. Proficiency with computer software and email. Ability to lift 35 lbs. NYS Driver's License. CPR & First Aid preferred; training available for the right candidate.
