Effective July 1, 2025 in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 20, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 30, 2027.

CCHCS seeks to fill a Permanent/Full-time Pharmacy Technician position in Medical Services – Central Fill Pharmacy.

Under the direct supervision of the MSD Pharmacy Services, Central Fill Pharmacy Pharmacist I, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting in the operation of the Pharmacy and maintaining pharmaceutical and drug supply inventory and inventory records within the Central Fill Pharmacy.

This position is located in Central Fill Pharmacy , Medical Services, which  provides safe, effective and efficient health care to patients within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s 35 institutions.  The Central Pharmacy dispenses prescriptions to both inpatient and outpatient settings and provides clinical pharmacy services where necessary.  Pharmaceutical care is provided to each prison by the local staff of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians through all levels of patient care (inpatient to ambulatory).
