divh2Sheet Metal Mechanic/h2pWe are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic with extensive experience in commercial and naval sheet metal work. Experience in the installation of foundations, ventilation systems, bulkheads, shipboard furniture, and sheet metal fabrication. This role requires a deep understanding of complex assembly drawings and blueprints, as well as the ability to work in a physically demanding environment./ppResponsibilities:/pulliComprehend and interpret complex ventilation assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches, including weld symbols, material types, datum, and reference lines./liliUnderstand and use fractional and decimal dimensions with rulers./liliLayoff piece parts for fabrication and assembly./liliAssemble piece parts according to specifications, ensuring high quality./liliOperate small hand tools and shop equipment, such as electric drills, grinders, rivet guns, drill press, and press break./liliEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations related to the shipbuilding industry./li/ulpEssential Skills:/pulliFour years of commercial/naval sheet metal experience as a first-class Sheet Metal Worker./liliProficiency in comprehending complex ventilation assembly drawings and blueprints./liliExperience in the installation of foundations, ventilation systems, bulkheads, and shipboard furniture./liliAbility to work in a physically demanding environment./liliFamiliarity with OSHA regulations in the shipbuilding industry./li/ulpJob Type Location:/ppThis is a contract position based out of Nashville, TN./ppPay and Benefits:/ppThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.31/hr.
